To
Assemble:
Stitch angel as charted. Cut out shapes leaving one extra “square”
on all edges. Stitch wing as charted except leave bottom row
unstitched. Cut out wing, leaving one extra “square” on all sides and
making sure to leave an additional row of squares for the bottom row of stitches. Position wing
on angel, matching unworked rows. Stitch the last row through both pieces
to join them.
Halo: Stiffen an 8” piece of metallic with craft glue. While still
damp, thread needle with metallic and anchor it on the back near the
$ symbol. Bring from back-to-front at
$ symbol. Leave loop for halo, bring needle front-to-back at the other $
symbol. Anchor each end on the back.
