For this band, use
only Ecru No. 12 Pearl cotton on cream linen with a count of 28 threads per inch.
Stem Stitch and Long Armed Cross Stitch with 1 strand Pearl Cotton.
Leave two threads unworked between "2000" and the first
stem stitch row.
Caution! Once the Stem Stitch row is complete, it
will hide the linen threads above and below the row. Take extra care when
counting to begin the Long Armed Cross.
