Pumpkin Applebutter Pie

I discovered this recipe in the early 70's and modified it slightly.  The mixture of applebutter  and pumpkin yields a rich and flavorful Autumn favorite.
Unbaked 9 in. pie shell
1 cup applebutter
1 cup canned pumpkin
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 teaspoon salt
3/4 teaspoon cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
1/8 teaspoon ginger
3 eggs, slightly beaten
3/4 cup evaporated milk

Combine applebutter, pumpkin, sugar salt and spices.  Add eggs; mix well.  Add milk gradually; mix.  Pour into pie shell.  Bake at 425° about 40 minutes.
